Agrimontana - Piemonte Amarenata (Amarena) Candied Cocktail Cherries in Syrup - 2.3 lb Can

Originally from Piedmont, Italy, these are whole imperial variety bigarreau cherries - a large, heart-shaped variety of sweet cherry with firm flesh.

Ranging in size from 20-22 mm, the cherries are pitted before being candied in amarena syrup.

Origin: Benevento and Avellino areas, Campania - southern Italy

Use: For confectionery decorations in gelato, or coating in chocolate

Ingredients: Cherries, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Sugar, Enocyanin (Coloring Agent), Natural Flavor.
